I wanted to try them near my kitchen sink - kind of a "blacksplash", not knowing how it would work (so close to the water). I bought 2: (1) Flora (green/grey/yellow horizontal stripe) and (2) Jonathan Adler Hollywood (floral/geometric pattern/in gold/teal/blue/lt. green). I cut the Flora strip in 1/2 to fit/put it under the window/behind the sink. Then I cut out 8 ofthe floral/geometric designs from Hollywood and stuck them on the stripe. VERY easy to apply and VERY easy to handle, even after cutting. Don't be afraid to try it and experiment with a couple of designs. Result is awesome. So far, it's ok near the sink - I wipe off water spots with a dry cloth. Love my Wallpops and have gotten so many compliments!!
