Product reviews for Avignon Peel & Stick Backsplash

In completing a DIY project of chalk painting an old secretary, I decided on a black and white background. I choose the Avignon Peel and stick Backsplash, not expressly used for a secretary but I tried it anyway.

I was pleased with the look, however, the Avignon really sticks! Once you peel off the backing you better be sure you align it correctly because it is extremely difficult to remove should there be an alignment issue. I would probably go with a removable wallpaper should you wish to change it. Use for a real backsplash is probably more ideal.

I was looking for a back design for a DIY secretary I was painting. I came across the Avignon Peel and Stick Backsplash while I was looking for a simple peel and stick wallpaper. I decided to go with this design because I liked the black and white design.

However, the DIY secretary looks great but using the Avignon produce comes with some drawbacks. It is super sticky and one needs to be careful when placing after taking off the backing because it is difficult to remove once you put it on. Because it's purpose is for a sink backsplash that needs to remain stuck to the wall I would not recommend for furniture such as a secretary.
