Step-by-Step Instructions

Installation Tips

  • If necessary, use a straight edge and utility knife to trim tiles to fit, when you reach the edge of your walls.
  • Use a tile roller over the entire floor to strengthen the bond between the tile and floor. A 75 – 100 lb roller is recommended.
  • It is also recommended that baseboards are lifted and reinstalled over the new tiles to allow room for expansion. If tiles are laid snug against the wall, the pressure caused by expansion can cause them to lift

Cleaning Your Tiles

DO

  • Allow 5 days to clean tiles after application.
  • Use a vinyl floor cleaner.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or dust as desired.

DO NOT

  • Do not clean with detergents, soaps, harsh chemicals, bleach, one-step cleaners, wax, or an excessive amount of water.

To be durable enough to withstand foot traffic, FloorPops were designed with a strong adhesive. This means that they are NOT removable in the sense that our peel and stick NuWallpaper™ or wall decals are removable/temporary. They can, however, be removed should you choose to- we recommend using a scraper or an object with a thin, flat surface to wiggle under a seam and pop a corner of the tile up. From there you should be able to peel off the tile with your hands. Please note that as the adhesive is strong, if installed on a painted surface FloorPops™ are likely to lift the paint. It is also possible that some adhesive residue may be left behind when FloorPops™ are removed.
